Name: Noel Aurora Passevant.
Age: 121.
Human birthdate: January 1, 1885.
Body age: 16.
Ethnicity: French, Portuguese, Italian, Czekoslovakian.
Rank: Freshman.
Race: Stereotypical vampire.
Physical description: She was tall for that of a '16-year-old' at a willowy 5'11. When one describes her as 'willowy', that is not to say that she is all straight lines. Her figure is an elegant one, meticulously formed--just not as ourageously curved as some girls. Her hair was jet black, the thick hip-length ringlets shading her pale, heart-shaped face as if she were a frail moon not wishing to be seen. Noel's eyes were soft and inviting at a sideward glance, but their almond-shaped crystal blue depths could terrify with the right addition of emotions, which could only be seen through them. Her skin was an almost ghastly white, an interesting alternative to it's natural Mediterranean tone. She usually wore the standard school uniform, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, the top button of the shirt undone, and a silver-plated belt.
Noel's story: Noel was born to a poor gypsy family in a small village in France. The only way their family got by was when her five brothers would take turns stealing things from the nearby bakery, the butcher, etc. Her father took to playing the flute or violin in the streets while little Noel sang and danced. This earned them a few good scraps, but for a long while they only used it as a last resort when nothing could be found from the streets. They noticed, however, that Noel loved music with a passion surprising for a 5-year-old, and decided to use music to feed them more often. Noel grew up to be a tall, lovely teenager with a clearly growing soprano voice, singing in the streets on a frequent schedule.
One night, however, on her 16th birthday, the village was ransacked by a group of vampires. The Passevants were all murdered, save for Noel and Raphael, her oldest brother. One vampire, upon seeing Noel, obviously saw her as unique. She was not killed; instead, she was transformed. Her older brother, seeing Noel's human form dying and not wanting to see her suffer (as well as not wanting to meet a likewise fate) killed himself.
Her maker, whom came to be known to Noel as Luc, took her under his wing, teaching her the ways of a vampire. He showed her a more aristocratic way of life on the outside, acting much different from the violent, ruthless manner in which he took her family. Her voice was trained by an expert friend of Luc's, she learned to dance like a proper Parisian, as well as proper manners and the like. These lessons were all at night, but if anyone suspected (for rumors of an actual vampire were spreading fast), they never said a word. Luc also taught her to feed, to coax mortals into her grasp, to transform, to fly. All the things she had been blessed with.
But then the nightmares started. In her sleep, Noel saw visions of her father playing the violin, her brothers snickering over a prized baguette they had succeedingly taken. The visions took on a much more horrifying nature, exposing her to memories of her mother's dead body, her father's bleeding throat, an the insufferable yet brief pain she had felt that night. Then she saw nothing. She finally confronted Luc one night, demanding he tell her how she had come to live with him, who those people in her dreams were. When he wouldn't tell her, she threatened to walk herself into the sun, alarming him greatly to the point where he explained everything. They argued for hours over her rightful fate, but at last she ran away, Luc chasing after his 'daughter'. The dawn came. Noel escaped the terrible sun, but Luc did not.
She ventured out once night came again. Knowing she had been orphaned once again, she left their home to find Raphael, not knowing he was deceased. She went on like this for decades, until she found something else. She has been at this academy for almost 2 years.
Personality: Noel is a very quiet girl, and she is prone to observing random people's actions. She could be considered sweet and innocent, yet her friends knew very well of her nearly sadistic sense of humor and sharp wit. She was a bit of an older vampire, but still a freshman. She had come to the school mostly on instinct, not because she wanted to learn. She has a great passion for singing, reading, and writing, and is fluent in french and portuguese. She doesn't show much emotion, but her explosive temper often teeters on its vey edge for no reason at all.
